This is the complete guide for everything from removing bearings to cleaning them...

Step 1: Gather up everything you will need, skate tool otherwise your dads old tool...If your going to clean the bearings get some old rag or something to clean them with...

Ok now that you have everything you will need start unscrewing the nut on the axl part of the hanger.

Ok after you unscrew the bolts you should remove the wheels and everything from the hanger axl...It should look like below.

Ok now that you got the wheel off you need to remove the bearings. To remove the bearings you can use a bearing pull if your skate tool has one or you can use the axl, just put the bearing on right at the edge of the axl and start to pull out the bearing at an angle using the truck (look at picture)

Just do that and the bearing will pop out. (it will look like this)

Repeat these process' for all 4 wheels and 8 bearings.

Ok now that you have your bearings out you are probley going to do one of two things 1. Clean them, or 2. Put in different ones.

Ok if your going to clean them take an old rag and wipe down the outside of the bearings for about a minute for both sides per bearing, your going to want to clean all the dirt off or if its spewing out oil you want that cleaned off to because dirt sticks to that.

It's pretty simple to clean them.

Repeat for all bearings.

Once you cleaned your bearings or if you are putting in those brand new bearings you just got in the mail or from your local shop your probley ready to put them in. To put in a bearing is much easier. If you have a skate tool with a bearing press just set the bearing evenly into the wheel hole and push down with the bearing press. If you do not have a bearing press guess what method you get to enjoy, that's right the axle.....Just place the bearing in the wheel and put the wheels on the axle and push them down until the bearings are all in place.

Repeat for all bearings. Once you have the bearings in place your speed washer on before the wheel, place the wheel on the axle and then put the other speed bearing on then finally screw in the bolt. Repeat for all wheels

So you were walking with your friends and you saw somebody skating by and do a Heelflip to manual onto a side walk and you say "Hey that looks like fun" or if you are sitting around flicking through the channels and you see the X games on espn or something and decide that you want to skate, whatever the scenario is everyone decides to start somehow and everyone starts at the same state: Terrible. So if you just started and you want to know what to do with skateboard and how to better yourself read this guide, if not your probley just really bored...

The first thing you need to do to be able to skate is get a setup. I would recommend at least having 60$ to start out. Whether you go to the skate shop and spend 120$ on a new complete or buy a local shops deck for 30 dollars and piece together the other stuff from buying used parts from friends or neibor kids you need to get a setup that doesn't suck. Do not go to walmarts and buy one of their 20$ hulk decks. If you have a good amount of money to spend go to the local shop or order from ccs.com or something, look for decks like: Baker, Zero, Mystery, Flip decks like that. You don't want to buy an world industries, those are terrible setups and you will regret it. 

Ok once you have a setup bought or your older brothers.. You can enjoy skateboarding, skateboarding is a art, it's a sport, it's a challenge. One thing you should always keep in your head is: "Never give up." Don't go and try to learn trick, you should have down all the basic stuff first. Ride your skateboard at least a week before you try learning anything. Practice turning and getting down you rolling and pushing. You will also need to figure out what stance fits you best. There is goofy and regular. Regular stance is standing with your left front as your front foot and right as your back, goofy is the opposite. Always push with your back foot do not push with your front foot its called mongo and it looks terrible. 

Once you have your turning and riding down comfortable learn to Ollie. Check the trick tips page, after you learn Ollies learn stuff like 180's and pop shove it's. Once you have all those trick down try learning stuff like Heelflips and Kickflips. Make sure you learn your tricks moving if you learn them stopped then it will make it much more difficult to learn them while moving.
