UK is so shit to skate. There are
hardly any decent spots and most the parks are shit and full of pricks. Yes i shud be grateful, but i dont skate em cos of
how shit they are and how jam packed full of losers they are. Also, i almost died ova day cos i cut ma neck open when i bailed.
I fell onto a wall n split it. if it was ova side, i cudda cut artery n died. oh well. must keep at skatin.

it really sucks when you have nowhere good to skate. I really hate that. It sucks, but sometimes you just got to make the
best of it. I have nowhere to skate around me so I have to ride my bike about 3 miles while balencing a skateboard. Then i
get to the airport and skate there. Just look around and you will find a good spot to skate.

yeah music has
to do a lot with skateboarding for a lot of people. I Like skating to music a lot. If you skate alone I would definatly listen
to music while you skate.

Hey, Tony Hawk here I was skating down at Woodward
with my son and ryan Shekler when Me and Ryan thought we should go on the half pipe. We went at the same time and we planed
that he would do a 540 under me and i would do a 720 over him, but I spun to far and ended up landing a 900. Remeber skate
hard and keep trying. Never let anybbody bring you down.

my brother and me were sk8ing at a school and saw
a bad ass gap on the roof so we dicited to try it so we looked arownd for a place to get on the roof and my brother
said that i would never pull that off so i proved him wrong and i kickfliped over that gap
that would be good to put in a sponsor me video if you make one. Gaps look really good in skate videos

I just got this new deck. it's bigger
than my last one so it took some getting used to. I take it to my friends hous, and im all dude check this heelflip(i cant
do heelflips at all). And i landed on clean, it was crazy!

this one time me and
my friend wanted to skate this mediam sized plant gap. we didnt know what to do because to do it we had to be on this ladys
porch. we decided to hide a video camera and go to the ladys door. we said we where looking for a male dog named Betty, we
thought it was so funny to se the ladys face whaen we said a boy dog named Betty. any way we kick-flip the gap and it all
ended well. you all might think this was stupid but if you where there you would have thought it was funny. p.s. rodney mullen

Reading some of your stories about the police
makes me think damn thats just harsh, i mean arresting you an stuff for skating, nothing like that happens in England you
just get moved on and if you go back no one really cares (cept for the oldies). But if you can you need to come skate in England,
there arent as many good spots, but up north (where im from) there are some class places. One place we skate is a high school
and it has a nice 4 set, loads of planters. and next to it is a basketball court, so one day me an my mates decide what the
hell we've just got hold of a video camera lets go all out.I had only been skating a few months, but using the planter as
a kicker, first time i managed to 180 kickflip over this fence into the basketball court, thats the truth.and how jus to finish
off by sayin your site has been really helpful for learning new moves and its from this sit i learned to do the kickflip that
got some class footage on our tape. Keep up the good work!

one day me and my friend were sk8ing so last week
some old lady on my street got arressted for possesion of pot.. so we sk8 in a empty pool in her backyard. then some women
comes in through the door and says we cant sk8 at the house so we leave then when she leftwe sk8ed there again
and she comes and sees us sk8ing and said if we sk8 here again you will be arressted so my friends start swearing at
her and run like hell
ok then, well ummmmmmm wow.

A couple of days me and my freinds were out in my drive
customizing loads of our boards. We were outside my back door and we were spendiong ages just taking the trucks off some boards
and puitting them on others seeing which ones were the best. Anyway after about an hour i make this board that is sh*t for
ollies but great for grinds. So, i run inside, wet some soap and put in on the curb on our sidewalk. I smear it all along
so it is easier to grind on. Then i think 'crap! i left my skateboard in the road.' I mmight as well keep u all uip to date
on why this guy what he was about to do. I made enmies with his brother. He was bullying me and takin the mick, so i said
his mum was wrinkly and he punched me in the face. So anyweay his 21 year old bro drives up the road in this sh*tty red car,
and runs over my edited board!!!I think you bastard and lookup the road. my board is damaged and hadn't moved anywhere. Well
the griptape was a little bit rusty now nothing else. I lok at the car and smoke is coming out of the back of the engine and
the car stops in front of their house! HAHAHAHAHA!!! And i haven't seen hte car on the road since it happened. Oh yeah and
i edited my board and made an even better one!!!

can do a still ollie like a 2 foot but i can't get a rollin ollie to save my life... i just keep drangin the tail... plz help
Ok way too many people have been haveing trouble with ollies. I am starting to get sick of all the
skate stories about ollies. I Will respond to a few once in a while but not many. Okay for a rolling ollie you need to get
in ollie stance push off and pop the board and slide your foot up. If your tail is just dragging you are not popping.

that is a hard situation. What I would do is just hang out with her without her mom knowing and if you can't do that it sucks
but i guess maybe find a new girlfriend. So you can either still go out with her because you have the right to your own decisions
or just give up.

i was skating this huge set of 8 stairs (ive only bin
skating for 2 months so 8 stairs is big for me) and i can ollie really well for a begginer and stuff i can kickflip and heelflip
and 360 flip but i cant ever bigspin kickflip but im soo close so one day i go to the big 8 stair set and i try a ollie and
i bail and kill my foot so i go home then 4 days later my friend dared me to try to do a bigspin kickflip down it but
i was so chiken kause i didnt want to hurt ma self again. but hes like omg u pussy so im like w.e ill try it and i land
it first try!!!! he got it on tape to i was like HOLY SH** and even better was i kept on pushing on and went to a 3 set afterwards
and kickflipped it also he got it on tape it was great:D
a 360 flip in 2 monthes is the dumbest

Yo I've been skating for 6 months and I still can't
ollie!I slam the back down and dragged my foot up to level it out in the air. But instead of the back going in the air, the
front always hits down. What am I doing wrong?
ok what you have to do is pop your board. You can't just make the tail touch the ground. It also
has to be fast so when you pop move you feet fast or it will not move.

I was outside my house with 2 friends. One who skates
and the other doesn't. Anyways, the one who doesn't was just standing on the side of the road not really doing anything and
my other friend and i were just fooling around and stuff. There's this one part in the road (which by the way is at the bottom
of a hill) that has a speed ditch thingie and i was coming down the hill really fast and i was just going to do a simple ollie
over it. BUT the friend who was on the side of the road
was looking at somethign in the grass and was like "hey sam check
this!" so of course i looked and i hit the ditch soo hard! worst part was i wasn't wearing any of my gear and i was covered
in blood. my friend didn't even notice and was like "o wait.. nevermind.." i just got up and continued skating lol.
you always have to concentrate no matter what or you can get hurt easy

comment: One day i was skating with
my mate and we went past his house and we saw this really long drive. The terrain was sweet so we rebelled and went into it.
Right at the top of the drive there was this really long two set and a REALLY smooth path behind it. So my mate, who was actually
on a scooter, dared me to ollie it AND push off a few times after it and ollie up a curb over a huge grass verge. I nearly
chickened out until james bought my vidcam out of its case. So i went as far back as i could to get a good run up for the
two set. I went forward and ollied it and i landed it! The best thing the drive was sloped and i still landed it going downhil.
So, i roll on and push a few times so i got REALLY fast, then i approached this curb and ollied the highest ollie i ever did!
I went straight in the air so high i did an indy. Oh yea, and i ollied the verge to....and landed it!!! :) Now we have edited
it and put it on slomo when i ollie and when i indy. It lkooks AMAZING dudes and dudettes.

Once me and a friend was skatin and a squirell
went into the road so my friend wanted to ollie over it, but he popped too soon so he landed on it and killed it. then we
were hungry so we went to his house and cooked our now roadkilled friend. it tasted kinda bad, but we put salt on it to cover
up the taste.

of our house an my brother got his launch ramp out. i bombed it down my drive and hit the ramp, but i landed on my m8s board

I was skatein around in the street in front
of my cousins house one day and I was just rolling along, not too fast and turned to the side talkin to my cousin who was
just standing in his driveway. The next thing I knew I was sliding across the pavement. I got up and looked and I had slid
4 feet! He looked at me and was like dude are you ok? I laughed even though it did hurt a little. I got back on my board and
skated to the house. When I looked I had tore up my hip, elbow, thy, and shoulder. I still have scars and that was a year
ago. Suprisingly I got back on the board 10 minutes later and went skatein again. My cuz was suprised cuz im a girl and he
didnt think I could take it but looks like I can dont it? Hahaha
wow sounds really painful. When
you get a injury skating it sucks but you have to get back on the board! Just remember wear a helmet!

go to LCHS. Its where jamie thomas did the leap of faith. So anyway, we were doing the 10 stair nd shit and 2 cops came out
of no where so we ran like hell. Ya, so we got chased by cops but got away. :)

like shuv-its, but I cant ollie. I mean, I can ollie onto stuff, but I can never just ollie from the ground. I need help.
do you mean off of stuff? well anyway what you want to dois stand on your board with your front foot
a little behind the front bolts and your back foot on the tail, then just push down on your back foot and slide your front
foot up the board

I was practicing the F\S 180 Kickflip then i
busted out but one day i did the 180 kickflip and then i fell off the board and the board got killed by a bus :( ..hell but
i did the 160 kickflip and then later with another board i did a 360 flip in a 6 set of stairs :).... Well that was the story
that's awsome man! Just remember keep skating oh and stay away from buses

This day was cool because i was skating
with a friend and then we found a big gap .He jumped the gap with ollie and then i tried to do the 360 flip and then i busted
out the 540 flip over that gap :) i couldnt believe it but true .

I was on holiday in France and i had brought my skateboard with me. I was skating in this really small
little street where my uncles villa is, and this long-haired guy with an Alien Workshop board and a blader start trying to
grind this wooden bench. The blader jumps up and manuals on his skates to the end then does a 360 out. He was good. he turns
round and says to the skater (In french i think:) 'Do a nosegrind.) The skater pushes off and tries the Nosegrind. He stops
the moment he lands on the bnech i falls off. I walked over and said hello and stuff and found that they spoke English. Pretty
well, actually. Anyway the guy tries a nosegrind a few more times, then i run up to the villa, grab some soap and smear it
along the bench. The guy tries it again, but his backwheels keep getting caught on the front of the bench. I teach him how
to stop your wheels getting cuaght by pushing the board ahead of you and then getting ready to land over it. I showed him
a few times!, and then he started doing them properly. I found his name was Jean and we were grinding this bench for like
four hours! It was well cool.
Yeah that's cool that they speak english and all so just remeber
always have your board with you!

me and my friend tom found this big drainig dich shaped like
a bowl with banks and a quarter pipe part there is also a 3 foot gap across one of the banks. the bolw is about 5 feet deep.
it is so awsome.

I was skatin one day, and i have
just landed this Pop- Shuvit. Anyway, i try it a few mnore times and then i end falling off and
breaking my wrist. Anyway,
at this time i didn't know it was broken, i just felt sick with pain. Anyway, being a Die Hard Sk8r i try it again a few more
time, and coz my confidence was broken a little (as well as my wrist lol) i end fallin off onto my wrist AGAIN! Anyway, later
a'm meant to meet my girlfreind down the skatepark near us. So i go and i end up falling over on my wrist 3 more times. We
went to hospital after a day, and they saw nothing wrong with it. Then the idiots called me back a week later syaing i had
a greenstick fracture! Idiots....I couldn't go on my skateboard for 2 weeks!!!!! Noooo! By the way, all my girlfrind said
was: 'I told you so.'.... :(

Me and my frend were skatin in front of our house and doin kickflips and stuff whenmy mum came with our
car after going shopping and she parked in the driveway. suddenly my frend skated at full speed towards our car and my terrified
mum. He ollied... and completely crashed into our car. He was actually ok although he crashed pretty hard but there werent
any scratches onour car or anything so my mum wasnt too angry He said he wanted to ollie over our car and i told
him he was crazy. He actually nearly did it though! He ollied higher than any of us had ever done! This is actually a reely
stupid story but anyway... Here it is.

Hi, I suck at skatin! I
skate 3 hours a day and ive done this for over 3 months now and i still cant pop an ollie! my frends the're all reely good
they can do kickflips and boardslides and stuff but i just cant do sh*t! help me cuz i reely love skatin and dont wanna give
up! my back wheels cant get off the ground when i ollie.
Ok I would try to get help from your friends because is it always best to see how to do
a trick so you know what you are supposed to do. I would read the ollie trick tip also.

Ok, I did a backflip out of a bowl.
Then some idiot kid says he can do better. So we started a tournement and I did another backflip. He tries a backflip, and
he lands on his head and hes K.O'd. Oh ya, I won the tournament.

lady down my road who we think did crack and cocaine. She left a few month's ago. So one day my friend Wayne and me went over
there. Lucky us there was a 3 foot gap between her sidewalk and her driveway. We were bustin' nosegrabs and 180 indy's and
flips over it. It ROCKED!!!

boards real quick that made it spark up when we slid on our tail so we did it infront of our house and he yelled at us a threatend

Me and 3 of my friends were skating up in the harbor...and apparently a few cops saw us. so five min. later
were standing by ESPN Zone waiting for our ride. the cops come over saying we cant skate here, we say we weren’t so
he walks over and give us all warnings saying if he catches us skating in the harbor again he can charge us or arrest us,
he said we gave him attitude..so next weekend were gonna go back up there an tape us skating
I hate cops. If they bust you skating you can go to jail on the 3rd offense here

Well I went to visit
my aunt and uncle at the beach and though it would be a boring day. It turned out to be awsome. I found a place with a ton
of sets and Ollied a 9 set for the first time.

I was walking down the road with 2 of my friends(of course we had our boards in our hands) and a cop stopped
us, and he took ourname, number, age, and b-day and then took us to my house, so we got pissed so we went right infront of
the cops house and skated, and then we went to the skatepark.
If they do that around here then that means if they catch you again they can arrest
you

whenever I go outside and skate these 2 girls really start annoying me, and they’re my age. they're really posers who
are upsested with Good Charrolette. Who the hell is Charorolette anyway? And why is she good? So these girls real do piss
me off.
yes this is the first story on here. Good Charlotte is a band. I think it is all guys in the band.
They probley just like the music. What I would do about them annoying you is get a cd player and head phones so you don't
have to hear them.
